No Schedule

It has been said “...make time for God in your life...”, as if we occasionally bring God into our life “when we have time”. That is religion, NOT the reality of a life which is reconciled with God by Jesus Christ. God purchased us with a price and brought us into His family. God is always present with us, working in us to will and to do of his own pleasure, 24/7, 365. (Philippians 2:13)

Our walk with God is conducted thought by thought. We don’t schedule Christ into our life, Christ IS our life, and we live Through Him to accomplish the will of God in our families, our jobs, among our friends, and neighbors. This work is done moment by moment, thought by thought.

Colossians 3:1–4

[1] If then you have been raised with Christ, seek the things that are above, where Christ is, seated at the right hand of God. [2] Set your minds on things that are above, not on things that are on earth. [3] For you have died, and YOUR LIFE IS HIDDEN WITH CHRIST IN GOD. [4] When Christ who is your life appears, then you also will appear with him in glory.

Ephesians 2:10 For we are (today, right now, no waiting required) his workmanship (masterpiece), created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them.

By the accomplishments of Jesus Christ, you are, right now, a new creature with a new nature. Every day you ARE what God says you are, regardless of your feelings or circumstances. Be that child of God and shine as a light in the world. You are enabled to do this because it is Christ who lives in you! Wherever you go, wherever you are, that is where He IS!

Philippians 2:14–16

[14] Do all things without grumbling or disputing, [15] that you may be blameless (not faultless) and innocent, children of God without blemish in the midst of a crooked and twisted generation, among whom you shine as lights in the world, [16] holding fast to the word of life, so that in the day of Christ I may be proud that I did not run in vain or labor in vain. (ESV)
